| Good morning Lois, It is nice to hear from you. Brinkley weighs around 55 pounds. He is a handsome fellow and has the best disposition; I do not think you could ask for a gentler dog. My wife loves him, and daughter wants to take him on our rodeos. Brinkley reminds me of the cartoon with the two dogs, (one big and one little) where the little dog is the boss, that’s Ryder, Brinkley follows him around like a big brother and believe it or not, he is protective of Ryder. One more thing Brinkley likes to do is “Big Boy” my chair when I get up, then daddy has to sit on the floor. I will send you some updated pictures when I get them back so you can see how much he has grown. Take care, Steve |
| hi lois, we are celebrating marley's birthday as i type! she is definitely not on the small side.......hasn't been weighed in a while but i'd guess she's easily 50 plus lbs......maybe closer to 60. marley 's personality charms everyone. she is so engaging and affectionate.....a leaner. we've taken an agility class and she just flies over the jumps and up balance beams. great with other dogs. still a definite puppy. we love her. hope all is well with you, cathy |
Lois, That was so sweet I did give them both hugs and they are doing great. General weighs 55 lbs and is beautiful big tall and personality is great with the kids. He went to doggie school for a few months. I will get some pictures for you I tried to get some yesterday but he wouldn't sit still long enough for my flash to work so he looks silly. angel is great too she is smaller dainty and looks like a girl next to her brother. They play in our back yard and race around like it is a race track. They also swim with the kids in our pool. I love to watch angel and general play together they are so funny like they both remember each other from puppies. Thank you for such beautiful dogs Donna |
| Hi Lois, the boys are doing fine. I have been meaning to write to you and tell you about their progress. They were neutered and their weight is abut 50 give or take a few lbs. Apollo is my mommys boy and zeus well zeus has decided he wants to jump the fence so we are working on that. He has done well for the past week. He has a crush on my neighbors puppy. They just got a hair cut for their birthday. I have been trying to get pictures of them together but they have not been in the mood for photos. I do have a few though that I am sending. They seem smaller than Zeus I. Apollo is in the blue collar and Zeus is in the red one. |

| Hi Lois, I just had him weighed and he is 41 lbs. He and Taffy, more Taffy then he, have a cold. I did not know dogs get colds. I had Taffy in for sneezing so much, Seth did just a little. He is getting to be a good boy. This morning I woke up and he was sleeping like a little person with his head on the pillow next to me. It was so cute. He is so agile. He leaps over my flower beds in the back yard and before bedtime he make a run around the backyard like 5 times then he comes in and goes to bed. Training is good. He goes on pads during the night if he has to. He still wants to go out at 5 am to go potty. If I don't wake up he goes on the pads which is fine with me. That's about it. How are his mom and dad doing? He is in a running mood now, I just got home from work. He runs around the house and jumps over furniture. haha Carol |
| She is about the same size as her mother small and about 34 lbs she is basically white with only a small patch of cream on her ears from when she was a baby I think it’s also growing out white underneath. | Lois: Thank you so much for remembering Carrie’s birthday! She is doing great and a great addition to our family. We renamed her “Sophia” shortly after her arrival here. Over the last twenty-five years we have had two other standards poodles, Sasha and Lilly. Sophia is the smallest in size and weight coming in at about 38 pounds. But her body structure is beautiful with long legs and perfectly apportioned features. Of the three poodles, Sophia was the easiest to train and is so smart. She loves to sleep in the bed with us and tries to be a bit of a pillow hog if given the chance. It looks as if Sophia will be a true water dog in that so far she is tempted by the pool’s steps……….that may not work out well with keeping her grooming looking good……………………… We are quite pleased with Sophia and hope that she will be in our family for many years…………………………..she has given us much enjoyment and companionship over the last year……I did give her an extra big hug on her birthday and told her that it was from you and her Mom………………….along with her special dinner of a baked chicken breast and a cupcake from the neighborhood Three Dog Bakery……………….again thanks for giving us such a wonderful girl……………………. | Duchess lives with my son Josh and his family. She comes to "grandma's house" for a visit and a groom frequently. She is a wonderful, loving, calm girl. She spent the night with us this past week-end and was a perfect angel. |
| HI Lois, Tulla and I were happy to hear from you. She had a great birthday complete with cake and ice cream. She got several new toys, treats and a nice new collar. Tulla weighs about 41 lbs, which, if I recall correctly, is a little bigger than her momma. She is a beauty, I have attached some updated pics of her. She is doing very well and we are so happy she is part of our little "pack". She will be in her first agility competition in September. I have also signed her up for her first obedience competition. | Hi Lois, Harry is about 45 lbs and is doing well. He is the family favorite and is known throughout the neighborhood as Harry Poodell. That is our daughter’s pronunciation and everyone loves it. He has two girl friends an English Mastiff and an American Mastiff. He has a thing for big girls evidently. I gave him a hug for you and he and our daughter have the same birthday. Today has been fun and tomorrow we have a big party for both planned. Best Regards, Dave |
| Thanks for remembering Molly today. She is a great dog! We just finished basic behavior training this week. She was in an eight week class. She was really friendly with the other dogs and their owners. She is coming along well. We play ball for at least an hour every day. She was at the vet about a month ago and weighed almost 55 pounds.
