| In an email Rick wrote: We renamed Rico to HONDO, who was a chocolate Lab I had yrs. ago and was the best dog I ever had. I think this new Hondo has a chance to be right up there at the top. | In a May 2008 email Shari wrote: Dear Lois, I am so sorry I have not written sooner. I injured my back and was out of commission for awhile. We Love Our Sophie!!!! She quickly became a part of our family. Last Sunday evening, we were all outside playing and Sophie jumped on top of Evan's sand box that was filled with water and began jumping up and down and splashing. She had us in stitches laughing so hard. She has a ton of toys, but one afternoon she got a pringles can and entertained herself for an hour. The first week she was here, she followed Evan up the stairs to his play house and followed him down his play slide. Our Vet. was very impressed by her temperament and her beautiful coat. On our last visit she sat, laid down, and shook on command. Our Vet. was very impressed. She is smart as a whip, She is very loving, and has brought our family much laughter and love. Thank you!!!
