You were so right about Buddy.  He is making such a hit here in
Sheffield, Pa.  He is jogging with me and he is up to two miles.  He
meets the kids, and really growing.  He is training so well and I am
sure as he matures he will even get better.  I am so pleased with him,
I am going to have him chipped, and I forgot how much fun it was to
groom.  It helps the blood pressure for sure.  I hope to begin buddies
3 mile + to the cemetery this week.  I am making sure he is not worn
out and that he is able to do it by working up slowly.  I have had offers
to help other people with their dogs training but want to continue with
buddies first.  He is house training quite well.  Everyone likes his
color, and several people are asking where I got him, and they all like
the fact he is not a toy.  Here is a few pictures of him so you might
see his progress.  If I do have people who want a pup I will send them
to you.  I really do like his personalty, color, and temper.  He enjoys
grooming.  Well I will keep in touch and just so you know I am also
ring training him just like my other dogs.  I think he is great, and I do
appreciate you letting me have him.   Chuck

Dear Lois,
Here FINALLY are some new pictures of Lucy.  She just had
her first poodle haircut yesterday and looks beautiful.  The
groomer said she was just great!   We are just having so
much fun with Lucy and she is loved so much.  She is truly
part of our family.  She is so smart and really seems to try to
communicate with us (am I just imagining this?)  Our little
daughter Grace (in the picture) and I take Lucy for a walk
almost every morning.  On one of our journeys we even met
a 5 month old standard poodle right in our neighborhood!
Her name is Tilly, and she and Lucy love to play together.
Lucy is growing well, and was about 17 lbs. the other day.  I
sometimes worry if she is eating enough because she doesn't
always seem to want to finish her food, but she is full of
energy and a happy girl, so I am not worrying about it too
much.  I hope you are having a great summer!!   Talk to you
soon, Rose

Hi Lois,
Just wanted to let you know we are so happy with Molly.  She is such a delight.  Yes, she
is very smart.  She figured out how to open her play pen that a neighbor loaned us. At
first I thought I didn't close it right, but the next day when we had to leave I made sure I
closed the attachment.  When we got home, there she was waiting for us at the door.
She is also using the Dog Door.
She has been on our bed a couple of times, (we couldn't resist) then decided she liked it
better than her crate and that she should have the bed instead of us.  We didn't go for it.
Her crate, (the one you sent her in) is in our bedroom and as long as it is bed time for us
she seems happy (a little reluctant) to sleep in her crate.  As soon as I lay down on the
pillow, she goes to sleep as well.  It won't be long before she is out of crate for bed time.
She is such a beautiful dog and we can't thank you enough for keeping her as long as
you did. Last Sunday we took her in the mountains on a trail that had lots of streams.
We took some really great pictures, and will send them to you as soon as my husband
puts them in his computer.  I take her for walks twice a day and she loves to play with
the ball.  She also likes carrying the ball home in her mouth.  That is it for now Lois.  Oh,
how long do we give her yogurt once a day?  She really likes it and is still eating three
times a day.  She had her first puppy check with our Vet and he was impressed.
We are off to some friends house tonight for dinner and Molly is going with us and
tomorrow we are meeting a dog trainer privately for some lessons.  She is a VERY
QUICK STUDY.  Take care.  Fondly,  Tristin and Doug

Lois,
Bailey is wonderful!! You did such a fine job with her and she
just blended in with our family. Our 3 older boys have been
home from time to time and she loves them all. She only had
two accidents the first few days and both were when she got out
of the kitchen area. She now gives a soft bark at the back door
when she needs to go out. She loves Kelly and is my little
shadow everywhere I go in the house.  This week she is pretty
much free to go about the house with us. . It is so funny to watch
her go up or down the stairs. She loves flip flops so we need to
be sure they are put away otherwise she sticks to her toys. A
simple NO makes her stop. We are still working on leash
training and it is getting better. At first she did not want to
leave the yard with the leash or walk. She would just sit down
and dig her heels in (poodle stubbornness!!) She sleeps all night,
as you did ,in her crate. So many people comment on her color.
I have several people ask about you business so I will refer them
to you.  Thank you so much. I will have Kelly e mail you a
picture.  Adelaide
