Hello Lois,
Hope all is well with you.  We still look at your website and are
enjoying looking at all the new puppies!  Have you moved or did the
sale for through on the property that you were looking at? I just
thought I would update you on how Akira is doing.  As you know
she turned one at the end of September.  There is not a day that
goes by that she doesn't make us laugh!  She is able to have
plenty of energy to play but yet when we want to sit down for a
movie or just to relax she is laying right there beside us.  She is
very smart!  Her favorite game is when we hide either ourselves or
one of her toys and tell her to find either the toy or one of us.  She
is very good at finding!!!
I do have a question for you.  Have you ever had any problems with
the bottom of the feet in the winter with any of your poodles?  What
is happening with Akira is when we are playing outside and she is
running hard we come back in and her feet are bleeding (just a
little).  We looked and it looks like her skin in between her pads has
a little cut almost like a paper cut.  It doesn't bleed once we are
inside it just is on the snow that we get from her feet when we are
drying her off. Any suggestions on what we should do?  I take her
for a 2 mile walk everyday and her feet don't bother her and there
is no blood.  Just when she is running in the backyard that it
happens.I also have attached some pictures of Akira.  Akira was
the team "mascot" for my daughters tennis team!  She went to all
the matches and the last two pictures I sent are from when the team
won the Southwest Conference for tennis this year!  The team went
to States this year down in Columbus and Akira went with us.  She
loves to travel!!!  Hope to hear from you soon!  Renee

Duchess'  2010 Litter
Hi Lois,
Just wanted to send you a quick e-mail
and let you know Gracie is adjusting
real well to her new home!  I liked the
name you gave her and decided to
stick with it but I always give my dogs
a middle name so Gracie’s is “Belle”
because I am a Disneyholic!  Here are
a few pictures of her yesterday. I saw
Gracie’s baby pictures on the web site
but if you could e-mail me any in a
larger size so I could print them out I
would appreciate it.

Leo - Savannah's 2010 Litter
Lois,
Hi. I apologize that we have not updated
you sooner. Leo is doing great. He is just
at one year old now and is everything you
could ask for in a poodle. Unfortunately
for him, that means he is always in trouble
but he is quite the prankster, keeps us
laughing and is so cute. Can’t remember
what his exact weight was at the last vet
visit but he is right on track according to
the vet. He is medium sized and now is
just about the same height as our
chocolate poodle who weighed 52 pounds
at the his last vet visit. Leo is a bit thinner
but I am sure that will change as he ages.
I have sent a couple of pictures and will
continue to update you.

Thanks for a great addition to our family.

Don and Jerri
Thank you for sending the CD and
door hanger.  We will look for it
tomorrow.
Sophie is doing fine.  She goes in her
crate at night and sleeps all night.
When she plays, she goes all out!
She loves to run and tumble in the
grass.  Potty training is going ok.  We
had a setback yesterday, but she
seems back on track today.  Shes a
real sweetheart.
Thanks for everything.

Sophie - Savannah's 2010 Litter
Hi Lois!  Sorry I haven't emailed back sooner!  We've been so
busy and it totally slipped my mind!  We got the paperwork in
the mail!  Thanks so much for sending it out!  Chopper
(Cooper) is doing great!  My husband picked out the name
Chopper, not my favorite name, but it was one of the better
names to choose from that my husband was coming up with!
Ha!  We absolutely love him and even though at first my other
dogs didn't seem to be thrilled about him, they now all get
along great!  Which I knew would take them sometime to get
used to a huge puppy!  Its fun watching them all play!  I will
give him a big hug for you!  Thanks for everything!

Lois,
As promised here are two new
photos of Teche (Christian).  I
don't care how many litters
you have, you'll never have
another one as fine as this
young man.  (Of course I'm
very biased).  Thanks again for
everything, he is now 7
months old and 61 pounds, and
gorgeous!

Hi Lois,
Thanks for the nice wishes and remembering Sunny today.  I was just
thinking about sending you some pics today.  Sunny is doing great as
usual.  He's up to 73+ pounds now...hopefully he is done growing now at 2
years.  He spent Christmas in Wisconsin with my family and we drove back
here to Ohio for New Year's when Greg's kids and grandson drove in from
Memphis and Amarillo to visit.  Everyone just LOVES Sunny.  He is still my
favorite dog of all times, and we get so many compliments on what a nice
looking dog he is and how great his personality is....I hate to go anywhere
without him recently, and he wants to come with of course.  He gets along
with other dogs and kids, so we never have to worry.  He is a good watch
dog though too.
Your last litter of puppies wsd adorable as usual.  I noticed that Isaac looks
and sounds a lot like Sunny.  I hope he goes to a good home. I hope all is
well at your home.  I attached a picture of Sunny and I watching the
Packers dressed in full Packer gear for the playoffs (which they lost).  I'll try
and forward another pic or two from New Year's at our house this year.
Take care,
Coleen, Greg and Sunny
Hello Lois,

I just wanted to write and say
THANK YOU! Hunter has been
such a blessing! He's a
sweetheart and loves everyone.
He's strong and confident as
well. My and I wife LOVE him. He
cuddles with us and he's pretty
well behaved, still training him.
Our vet has commented on how
pretty he is. Hunter loves to play
in the snow and play fetch. He's
a real people pleaser. I attached
a photo, it's a little dark, but you
can see the puppy dog eyes.

Thanks again, Lois,

-Greg Savage

Hi Lois!
Congratulations on the purchase of your new home.
It looks like a wonderful place for your family and the
puppies. I'm sure you are excited about moving! I
wanted to send you a few recent pictures of Siena.
She is now 35 lbs., so she is a little small for a
standard, but I think she is a great size! We have her
professionally groomed every 6 weeks, and the
groomer has always said how much she enjoys
Siena.  Siena loves all the usual things that any
other dog loves....walks, playing outside, swimming,
playing with our other dog, grooming, petting, etc.
She is such a joy to have with us.
My husband and I became proud parents of a
beautiful baby girl 8 1/2 months ago. Her name is
Briella Siena and Briella can't get enough of each
other. Siena always has a watchful eye over Briella,
both in the house and outside. Siena walks beside
the stroller when we go on walks through the
neighborhood. Briella cracks up laughing when
Siena runs, swims, or when she gives Briella kisses.
They both have pool floats that they use in the pool,
but when we take Briella out of her pool float and
hold her in the water, Siena starts to bark, jumps out
of her float, and will swim to Briella. She definitely
keeps a close eye on Briella.
I hope your have a smooth transition with your move.
Enjoy the pictures! :-)Kindest regards, Carman

July 2011 Email: I have trouble with my internet
service--enough to tear my hair out--and a
tendency to over schedule myself.  Those are
my only two excuses. I almost  daily think of
you. Do you remember when I asked you how I
could engage such an high energy dog? It
seems this old woman wears him out.  So
joyously and so willingly we two have opened
up new adventures together. He has worked
with me and my granddaughter at a horse
rescue farm from day one.  I got him home and
in my arms the day you so graciously delivered
him into my arms and backed his little and quite
impressive butt right into my two horses noses.
They bonded.
At my friends' horse rescue farm, Lucky
Orphans, Newton is not allowed to play with the
horses.  He knows the difference. I wish I could
really tell you, Lois, the true joy of him. I have a
sneaking suspicion that you already know. He
is so brilliant and so interested in everything.
He takes three simple commands 1, 2, 3 in order
without fuss or bother. Don't go anywhere, Lois.
This dog and I are the most perfect match you
ever made. If you ever need a pied de terre in
our neck of the woods as you spread our
Newton's cousins, you have one here.  I mean
that. When I must let go of him, please remind
me that I must not wait that long again. You
entered into my life the Christmas my
granddaughter most needed Newton. I think I
was the one who needed Newton all along.
Thank you and your family.

Little Zoey (our adult kids added the y!)
seems to be doing quite nicely.  We are
enthralled with her and our many friends
with animals seem to adore her.  I believe
it is good to subject her to different people,
pets, etc. if we are there to back her up.
Last Saturday a visit to our vet for nine
week shots.  Vet says she does not usually
say this about puppies, but thought Zoey
looked very intelligent and we might be
able to teach her a variety of things, such
as identifying toys by name and the usual
training things plus much more.  We just
love her, again a new parent comment.
Book club today, and all eight folks fell in
love and I foresee she imagines herself to
be a lap dog and may not fit the lap in the
future. From a psychological perspective I
see us new owners as not being able to
separate from you, the breeder.  I am sure
we wonder off into the sunset at some
point....but for now ...Thank you, Stephanie
